As Mr Lewis joins our chapter I would like to take this opportunity of commending his services to members.

I have been instructing Mr Lewis since approximately 1999, firstly whilst with Blakemores in Tetbury, where he was of great use to the firm's matrimonial department, and since July 2001 with Bevans. I was pleased to find, when I joined Bevans, that the debt recovery department used Mr Lewis already, and spoke highly of him.

In my experience over this time, Mr Lewis has always presented work of the highest professional standard, swiftly and efficiently. His charges are reasonable and his ability to get a result is clear.

In many cases, his easy manner has won over an opponent in litigation and started a dialogue which has led directly to settlement, which, whilst diminishing the return in legal fees, gives satisfaction to the ultimate client who will return to my firm with more matters. Once they have experienced Phil's work and read one of his reports, they know that the people we use on their behalf share our high standards and keep their best interests at the top of the agenda.

Moreover, his reports are quite often simply hilarious to read which can only be a good thing in an otherwise mundane worls.
