Pathfinder Investigations Limited is managed by ex Police Sergeant Phil Lewis. The considerable ‘detecting’ experience gained in the police force has been a significant asset since ‘investigating’ in the private sector.
Mr Lewis established Pathfinder Investigations on leaving the police to pursue a career in the private sector.
With a varied background in the police force, including serving as a Custody Officer, serving in a Family and Child Protection Unit, serving in C.I.D., and serving in the Road Traffic Departments of two Police Forces, Mr Lewis has a wealth of experience that is pertinent to private investigations for the legal profession, commerce, and the private client.
The company has an established reputation for high quality work at a value for money price. Much of the company work comes from repeat business with local and regional solicitors.
Whether you are a lawyer, a company or a private individual; whether it is a single small job or a large on-going contract, you are always assured of a professional and personal service.
The Private Security Industry Act 2001 introduced the requirement for security personnel to be licensed. Pathfinder Investigations fully supports this government initiative and participates in the industry debate through the Association of British Investigators and the Investigators Sector.
The Security Industry Authority has been set up and licensing has commenced. Licensing of Security Consultants and Private Investigators will commence in 2005/06.
Companies such as Pathfinder Investigations welcome the opportunities licensing will bring to the industry, and we will continue to strive to exceed our customer expectations for quality service at a competitive price.
Phil Lewis, the principal of Pathfinder Investigations, is actively involved in consultations with the Security Industry Authority about the licensing of investigators.
He has been member of a workshop group of stakeholders working with the Security Industry Authority to assist them in determining the appropriate Licensing Competence Criteria for Private Investigators.
More recently he has been involved in helping to test the workbook to be introduced as part of the Approved Contractor Scheme.
